Six Sentence Sunday: Fury – part 5

So my good news from last week was the fact that I sold Bitter Harvest, my m/m post-apoc romance to Carina Press.  It’s due out in March 2012. 😀

If you want to read snippets of it, it first appeared as part of Six Sunday.  There’re are about 5 parts of it, I think.

Anyway, here’s my next 6 from Fury 🙂  I’m half way through Fusion and Frequency is mostly planned, so I should be back to this wip soon. Can’t wait 😀

She wanted skin and flesh, the slide of his against her own.  To bite him.  Fuck, to devour him.

Heyerdar broke their kiss, but buried his face against her neck, his teeth grazing her.  Breaking the skin. “You shouldn’t feel so fucking good.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Fury ~ part 3

The week was split between Fury and Current. I’m still writing Current now. If I get though it, Fusion and Frequency, then yes, Hailey Edwards, I can get back to writing Heyerdar. 😉  I do have 27k to pick from for 6 Sunday though.

Oh and I also got good news in the middle of the week. But I can’t share it yet…

A thin smile touched Heyerdar’s mouth. “My power comes from the heart of the earth. Remember that.” He leaned forward his mouth so close to hers she tasted his sweet breath and couldn’t stop the quick hitch in her chest. His voice was just above a raw whisper. “Never offer me anything you’re not willing to lose.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Fury

As I plot out the three remaining stories in the Planetary Bodies series -: Current, Fusion and Frequency, I’m playing about with an erotic fantasy romance with the working title of Fury.

As I type this I have about 14k written.  Hope to have a lot more when Sunday rolls around.  Anyway, here’s my six:

Sunlight gilded his muscled body.

Ava dropped her head into her hands and leaned heavily on the balustrade.  In the silence, the cool air carried the turn of his bare feet over the sand of the arena, the soft huffs of his breath as his supple body flowed through the series of twisting, intricate moves. The marble dug into her bony elbows and she ignored the pain for her illicit moment of man-watching.

Captain Nahum Heyerdar put on his naked show every morning, just as the sun crept over the second watch tower. Welcoming the fire of the sun as she touched the earth.

Six Sentence Sunday: Friction

Wow, I sort of dropped away for a bit there, didn’t I?
School holidays and a run of bank holidays threw me out completely.

So, here’s my six from Friction –out a few days back 😀 — Enjoy!

She teased the smooth material between her fingers. “You get what you want.” Looking up at him through her lashes—a deliberate flirtation—she wet her lips. “That is, me. Shouldn’t I get something in return?”

“Aren’t I enough?”

Six Sentence Sunday: Wild Card

Okay, I have been a bad, bad Sunday Sixer.  The next bit of Current is barely legible scribbles in my notebook.  I’m squinting at them now.  Barely doesn’t cover it.  So… I did the random number thing, listed my wips and books and picked one for today. Hence ‘Wild Card’.  I will actively ignore the bunny that is twitching over this title.

And the winner is…

Flesh and Shadows

Now one man, with simply a dash of an alien reptile, had her thrown.

Rand’s soft laughter pulled at her and his finger traced down her throat to the open neck of her blouse. He skirted above the swell of her breast. Niamh’s pelvis tightened, wanting to deny the ache, the way Rand’s calloused fingers excited her skin. “Unlike the snake that bit me, I like to play.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Bitter Harvest ~ part five

And yay, it’s back to Bitter Harvest 😀  I got my research, so I’m moving on with this story this week!  And erm, Sutton gets a bit of a filthy mouth…

“Enough.”  He pushed at more truth, his words quick and quiet.  “Yes, I want to fuck you.  I want to fuck your mouth.  I want to bite and lick you, then fuck you so hard you scream my name.  I want you.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Magnetism

Sorry for the break from Bitter Harvest (that story needs a bit of *cough* research right now…) so I’m pulling out my favourite snippet from my erotic SFR (m/f) new release Magnetism

“Playing away? Want me to fuck you against the wall? Screw him out of you?” Her back hit the bulkhead and she let out a soft groan. He unbuttoned his trousers. “It’d be a pleasure.”

Six Sentence Sunday: Bitter Harvest ~part four

I need to crack on with this story this week, I’m being distracted by evil, evil bunnies.  Anyway, here’s a little more of Rider and Sutton:

Anger smashed into Sutton, taking away all reason. His fist flew and connected with Rider’s jaw.  The raw satisfaction burned away the pain. He grabbed the lurching man and barrelled him back.  Sutton shoved him chest-first against the wall, his force driving all air out of Rider’s lungs.  “You’ll be the last mistake I make.”

And yet more from Messrs Rider and Sutton:

“Are you strong enough to make me stop, lieutenant?”

“What kind of fucked up—”

Rider cupped his balls and Sutton froze. The hot spike of lust caught him and he couldn’t breathe.  Clever fingers teased him to new levels of need.

“Maybe there is something still fucked up in my brain, but I know I want someone to make me end this.”  Rider’s breath brushed his lips and his whisper was raw and hot.  “Are you him?”

Six Sentence Sunday: Bitter Harvest – part 2

I forgot to mention last week that Bitter Harvest was my first try at man love 🙂  <–is very nervous.  So here’s a bit more…and this week you get names!

One taste. Just one.

He threaded his fingers through Rider’s hair and the man hissed, his mouth parting.  Sutton fisted his fingers.  His prisoner groaned, the sound hitting his gut and he wanted, he swallowed, he wanted that sarcastic mouth, to take it and stop the flow of words that had his skin on fire.

Rider’s eyes defied him.  “Scared?”
