Pimpage: Glint by Portia Da Costa

Glint GLINT ~ Portia Da Costa
Walk on the Wild Side Books, May 2011

Suzy and Gavin are a sexy loving couple who are on holiday the seaside. Something about the sun on their skin and the bracing sea breezes seems to bring out the daring and adventurous qualities in this pair, and before long, they’re involved in wickedly naughty exhibitionist frolics on the sand, putting on an erotic performance for a mysterious voyeur watching them from the headland.

But that’s not all. Having put on a show themselves, it’s not long before Suzy and Gavin are turning the tables, and observing another pair of sexy holiday makers who like to make love for an audience.  Naturally one thing leads to another and these voyeuristic thrills spur their desire yet again…

GLINT is a 5700 word slice of life story, a pocket size snapshot of a couple’s sensual relationship. Originally published in Hide and Seek [ed. Alison Tyler] and the Mammoth Book of New Erotica 8, this release is an enhanced and rewritten version of the original story, over twice as long as the printed version with masses more sexy action for two happy, frisky lovers.

GLINT is for sale at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, All Romance Ebooks and Smashwords, with additional outlets to follow.

Excerpts available here and here.

Happy dancing today as I’ve sold my SFR novella SYNTHETIC DREAMS to Carina Press.

Here’s the unofficial blurb:

With no past to turn to and no hope for the future, Vyn Somerton does what she always has: she survives on her skills, hidden away from the prying eyes of the Corporation. Until now.
Vyn has created the ultimate in illegal gear, simulacrum, the perfect virtual lie.  It’s untraceable, untouchable, and until recently, impossible to create. She has plans to make herself rich beyond her wildest dreams…that is, until the Corporation turns her life upside down.  Again.

Paul Cross is a part of that upheaval.  Catalyst.  Corporate Mercenary.  Incredible and forbidden. He’s been watching Vyn, knowing that she’s the key to finding and rescuing his brother, a brother the Corporation he works for has replaced with a stranger. She’s a means to an end.  But watching her, moving though her life, he finds his thoughts becoming unexpectedly…carnal.

With their enemies closing in, Vyn’s life is in chaos.  Can she trust Paul or is he the key to the destruction of all her worlds?

Book pimpage: THE WEATHERFIELDS HEIR by David Bridger

A new release – THE WEAVERFIELDS HEIR by David Bridger

When Kate Richards inherits a dilapidated English estate from her estranged grandfather, she finds herself thrust into a world full of hostile new family members, mysterious Romany tenants, and strange visions of “the net” – an invisible web that connects everything in the universe. Kate thinks she’s losing her sanity, but the odd family stories and disturbing tales of locals convince her that something sinister is going on at Weaverfields, while the inescapable pull of the net draws her deeper into the secrets of her new home.

But with those secrets come danger, and an old evil that refuses to let go of its hold on the net – or on Weaverfields. The only person who seems to understand is Joe, a Romany street artist with his own ties to the land. Kate and Joe must master the net before the past intrudes on the present… in very ugly ways…

I’m hunting wabbits…

I’m known for my bunny attacks–and the ability to deflect bunnies onto other people (it’s an evil skill I have *insert manical laughter)–but recently they have become completely out of hand.  I have about twelve rampaging around my head and in various stages of word count.  So to pin them down, and possibly stake them down and skin them, I’m making a list of those I have to tackle .

The immediate list is finish:

Bitter Harvest

and the three Planetary Bodies shorts.

After that Taboo.

That’s 5 wips to finish and sub by July.  I think I can do that.

Friction has a cover

I got a cover in my email today.  Ellora’s Cave have been nice enough to let me have the same Quickie cover for Friction as Magnetism.  It is Miranda to me 😀

And here’s the unofficial blurb

A deal is a deal.

But when that deal is to appear in Tomas Thorne’s office ready to offer herself for his…consumption, Shan Rayner runs, hides and has no intention of going through with it.  That is until she’s hit by sheen, a turbulent force from the Uranian lower atmosphere.  A force that brings her darkest desires to the surface.

Need swamps her and she finds herself outside his office and all too ready to agree to anything he wants. Absolutely anything.

Six Sentence Sunday: Current

Oops disappeared for a few weeks there.  Stuff and being ill got in the way 🙂

I have to stop with the Bitter Harvest snippets, I’m afraid, as it’s getting near the end and I’d give away yum stuff…so I’m moving onto Current.  It’s the third in the Planetary Bodies series. I have to write it after Bitter Harvest is packed away.  So this is a sneak peek.  Enjoy.

“Captain Lawe is not with us, if you don’t wish to…sully your experience with him.”  She eased her grip and took Syato’s arm, urging her past the throng of muttering people.  “I have some beautiful new boys visiting from Callisto.  Sleek, bronzed and with the longest tongues I have ever seen.”  A smile twitched her lips.  “Genetic enhancement is a wonderful thing.”

As always, you can catch more 6 Sundays here

New Release: Magnetism

Magnetism

Book One in the Planetary Bodies series

Orlena Sol is not meant to be in her room, naked…with her superior officer.

The crew of the CMC Theseus doesn’t have sex. At least not with each other. But there’s a new hunger in Dareh Andersen and he’s looking at Orlena as if she’s all too edible. He’s ready to fulfill her fantasies, which makes no sense. He’s always wanted anyone but her.

Orlena is convinced there’s more to his sudden interest. She fears his desire is simply a dream, a lie. Something other, something outside and beyond them is at work…but it’s a force she doesn’t want to fight.

Buy here from Ellora’s Cave.

You can also read and excerpt here.

At my website there’s a little sneak peak behind the series Planetary Bodies.

Six Sentence Sunday: Bitter Harvest ~ part three

And yet more from Messrs Rider and Sutton:

“Are you strong enough to make me stop, lieutenant?”

“What kind of fucked up—”

Rider cupped his balls and Sutton froze. The hot spike of lust caught him and he couldn’t breathe.  Clever fingers teased him to new levels of need.

“Maybe there is something still fucked up in my brain, but I know I want someone to make me end this.”  Rider’s breath brushed his lips and his whisper was raw and hot.  “Are you him?”

Six Sentence Sunday: Bitter Harvest – part 2

I forgot to mention last week that Bitter Harvest was my first try at man love 🙂  <–is very nervous.  So here’s a bit more…and this week you get names!

One taste. Just one.

He threaded his fingers through Rider’s hair and the man hissed, his mouth parting.  Sutton fisted his fingers.  His prisoner groaned, the sound hitting his gut and he wanted, he swallowed, he wanted that sarcastic mouth, to take it and stop the flow of words that had his skin on fire.

Rider’s eyes defied him.  “Scared?”

As always you can go here to read more fabulous 6 Sundays 🙂
